January was a busy month. We had a visit from Yuval and Raz, our Israeli Emissaries, who brought games and activities designed to familiarize them with Israel. Both the students and the Emissaries had a great time! We also attended the Community wide concert at the JCC in memory of Debbie Friedman.

Like the flower bulbs preparing to pop up at the first hint of Spring, our Hebrew school students are busy preparing for the many events which will occur in the Spring. The first event is Yachad Shabbat Services to be held on Friday Feb. 3 at 6pm.

The next event is Purim – be sure to send in your Mishloach Manot orders!

Classes will be held through February 15th, and resume on March 4th after vacation. No class on February 19, 22, 26, or 29.

We extend condolences to the Sulkis Family on the loss of Larry Sulkis, Rachel and Zack’s “Poppy”, Mike’s father. May his memory be a blessing.
